TINOS Protocol Research tool made available by TSSG

The TSSG developed CBA prototype, which consists of a fully functional componentised network stack and the ancillary supporting infrastructure, has been contributed to the Pouzin Society as the TINOS project. In part developed during the EU ICT 4WARD project, this network stack is implemented as a set of OSGi software components which are deployed on the Eclipse Virgo platform.

TINOS will provide the underlying platform and execution environment upon which a RINA prototype can be developed. Existing users are encouraged to upgrade to TINOS to take advantage of upcoming improvements and enhancements.

The TSSG and i2CAT will be joining forces with the Pouzin Society to contribute to the development of a RINA prototype based on the TINOS platform. Two developers from the Network Technologies Cluster (the network technologies group of i2CAT) will be working part time on the prototype with the international team that developed TINOS.
